  • Inskolningar under pandemin.

Tivolis Guidelines to all guardians due to the corona virus, Covid-19

Tivoli preschools base our guidelines on information and recommendations from the health agency of Sweden (Folkhälsomyndigheten) other responsible authorities. We welcome adults and children who are well and symptom fee to the preschool. We need to take a common responsibility to decrease the spread of Covid-19.

We adjust our routines in the preschool to decrease any spreading of the virus, for example by spending as much time outside as possible. We are meticulous with our hygiene routines and remind each other to cough and sneeze in the elbow.

These guidelines apply from November 13th and they will be updated when needed. We base our guidelines on information from Folkhälsomyndigheten and hope that we all together can create a safe and well-functioning situation for the children and pedagogues at the preschool.

  • The owners/huvudmannen is thoroughly following the development and keeping updated on the daily updates as well as providing each principal with regular updates regarding this and regarding guidelines to guarantee the child safety at the preschools.
  • If a child has symptoms such as a runny nose, fever, cough, pain in their throat or any symptoms of respiratory tract infection should stay home and not come to the preschool. If a child would show any of these symptoms at the preschool, the staff members will contact you to pick up your child asap.
  • If it has been 7 days since a child got sick and the child has been fever free the 2 last days with a good overall wellbeing. Then the child can return to the preschool if the child only has mild symptoms (for example a little cough and snotty nose). This is based on the judgement that Covid-19 is not contagious after 7 days, at a normal recovery. This is repeated at any new time the child gets sick.
  • During the time when there is a high risk of infection, the preschool will NOT use new substitute teachers that are not part of the organisation due to the possible spread of infection.
  • Each preschool will give information and contact guardians if there would be a need to reduce the operation or change the opening hours.
  • The preschools will adjust their operation based on the amount off staff. If a preschool has fewer employees present for example due to illness, we will have to limit the number of children at the preschool. Each preschool will give information and contact guardians if there would be a need to reduce the operation or opening hours, as well as providing guardians with information regarding how soon your child can be back at the preschool.
  • If a preschool would have very few staff members due to sickness, we will only be able to provide childcare for children where the parents have an urgent need for childcare due to work (work within health care is a priority) based on child safety.
  • If the amount off staff would decrease during the day, for example if employees gets sick or due to care of sick child, you will be contacted and then must pick up your child as soon as possible.
  • Folkhälsomyndigheten (The health agency of Sweden) is now changing their recommendations for younger children. They now state that children that are in the preschool age as well as other family members should stay at home if anyone in the same household has been diagnosed with covid-19. In cases where someone in a family has been diagnosed with covid-19, also symptom free children should stay at home.

  • Since children can get sick during the day at the preschool, we need to handle the situation in a safe way to make sure that the child does not spread any virus. This is done by:
    – A pedagogue brings the child outside while waiting for the guardian.
    – The child rests in a room with one pedagogue in a room, away from the other children and pedagogues.
    – Pedagogues who are at higher risk from the corona virus belonging will avoid looking after children who have gotten sick during the day at the preschool.
  • Bigger outings that require using public transport should be avoided.
The health agency of Sweden (Folkhälsomyndigheten) urges everyone who can to avoid using public transport to find other alternatives. When travelling on a bus or trains its everyone’s responsibility to keep a distance. We avoid all unnecessary public transport.
  • Schooling in procedure (during the pandemic)
During the autumn term many new families are welcomed to the preschool. The Pandemic can cause concern for guardians. Therefore, it is extra important that the staff inform about the guidelines, give clear information, and have a good communication with the guardians. The principal also can also wait with the schooling in until a later date if guardians wish.
  • The schooling in procedure where the guardians participate should be outside to reduce any spread of infection.

As soon as we get any new additional information from the government or the health agency of Sweden (Folkhälsomyndigheten) affecting these guidelines, we will update the guidelines and inform you through the Tyra app. Please make sure that your contact information on the Tyra app is updated. Please pay close attention to any information sent from the preschool as the situation can change quickly during the day.
